I am inspired by the fantasy novel, "The Wood Wife", set in the mountains of eastern Tucson. It's a mystical exploration of the thin barrier between the natural world and the human world where people and creatures of the Sonoran desert shape shift and a deer woman could be seen melting into the landscape.    Multi-media one-of-a-kind sculpture in stoneware with slips and stains and deer horns.
